Couldn't get to stay here as they were unavailable but had a lovely interaction via emails and the owner seems very kind and polite. I'm sure it is a great place to stay ☺️

We're having a pleasant stay here. The keeper is surprisingly gentile and caring, the rooms are a bit tiny, but comfy. You can really sense the "Dutch Spirit" here.

Lovely place and host. Extremely cozy rooms, also clean, tidy and ventilated. And very good value too. The location is also great, near the tram, shops and attractions. Would definitely stay there again.

We stay here in July 2010 about 7 days. What a good experience with this family. This B&B is 3 minutes from station(Jan Pieter Heijestraat). and you can easily find them. Very clean room and quiet environment. Strongly recommend to stay with them. Annette, hope you still remember us, a lovely couple from Taiwan. and we leaving you a KaoHsiung Port post card !! I would like to share my bad experience with annette, an unprofessional host. I found his room in February for a trip to do in April, so I would say well in advance. I contacted Annette on February 12th and confirmed by e-mail on February 14th. Annette even sent me her address and directions for her home. To my astonishment I discover that Annette canceled my reservation on 22 April, three days before my departure because she deliberately considered me no longer interested. Such as? she sent me an email on the 20th and the other on April 21st, messages on whatsup on the 21st and a call during the Easter lunch with my family that I see only twice a year. My arrival is April 25th and I didn't reply to emails and messages simply because I didn't have an internet connection, being on the road, I didn't answer the call (his number wasn't registered on my phone of course) because I was at lunch with my family. I discovered the mails on the 21st evening. The day she contacted me and demanded that I answer it was Easter day, notoriously a day of celebration, not work. Normally I don't check my mails on a Sunday and Easter and normally hosts give a reasonable response period. Annette's behavior also caused me economic damage, because at three days of departure I find myself having to pay three times the price of a room booked two months in advance. I strongly advise against this host if: 1) for you the word given has a value and you don't want to be afraid of losing your room 2) if you don't have internet access 24 hours 3) if you are not an obsessed person who checks emails even at Easter 4) if you think a confirmation email is sufficient 5) if you follow the b & b solution because it is economic or because it is the style you prefer Annette has created me a non-indifference discomfort

First time visiting Amsterdam and Annette's B&B was suggested from someone who has stayed a few times, room was a perfect size, and hosts were more than friendly and extremely welcoming, price was really good for value. Actual location of property was also great as its very close to shops and tram lines as well as the river. Already miss Tom! Had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back next year!

Very nice ! The room is very functional and intimate. Annette is a very nice and caring host. Always available if you need informations or help while respecting your privacy. Not to mention how affordable the room is. Don't hesitate !!

Annette is very kind and serves all your wishes. She has a pretty cute Cat. Though the room is very tiny, it offers pretty much comfort, especially a very good bed.
