β β β β β Excellent basic+ hotel. Officially 3 stars. For traveler or staying over for work in the neighborhood. Friendly staff, good breakfast and everything you need for a short, little plus basic stay, is present here. I will visit this place again soon.

β β β β β The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the hotel is accessible and the beds are ok. There is smoking allowed on the ground floor but its avoidable easily enough. The service is good, and the rooms are easily kept warm, room temperature controls are easy to use. Would recommend as a hotel for a conference visit.

β β β β β Room is clean but very small. Shower was the first time nice and warm. Second time cold....
The restaurant bathroom was gross and only one of the toilets had toiletpaper when we checked in. Next day when we checked out the restaurant bathroom was still the same. How hard is it to let someone check the bathroom every 4 hours.
Staff was nice and friendly

β β β β β It's a little out of haarlem but price reflects that, we had issues with our flight and the guys there are great it was no trouble for them to sort later check in and couldn't have been more helpful. Good quality rooms soft beds and very clean. Offers breakfast however I don't eat in the mornings so can't comment other than looked and smelt good ?

β β β β β Nice enough hotel, it is fairly standard for the Bastion chain so if you have stayed with them before then you know what to expect. Particularly comfortable beds and a nicely spaced room with an en suite bathroom, air conditioning, a flat screen TV, a safe, a desk, a fridge and a coffee machine in the room. On the upper floors there is a nice view of the area around the hotel, including the small lake within the car park area.
There is a fair sized car park outside the hotel and, inside, there is a full restaurant which serves evening meals as well as a daily breakfast which you can add to your room rate but it is a little on the expensive side for what is offered. If you are looking for something a bit quicker or on the cheaper side there is a McDonalds in the same courtyard as the hotel. The road network in the area is well set up allowing for easy journeys from the hotel into the main areas of Amsterdam so it could serve as a fair alternative for those visiting the city but not wanting to spend big on a city centre hotel.

β β β β β Really enjoyed my stay here, the rooms are clean and modern. I like the fact you have pod coffee machine in your room, complimentary bottled water.
When I checked in, I was given two vouchers for, two free drinks in the bar.
The only thing I could moan about, was that the safe in the room was not working, so I didn't want housekeeping in my room, while I wasn't there, due to money, passport and other valuables in my room, as I was only there for two nights, it wasn't a problem.
The staff were friendly and helpful with me and there is a bus every ten minutes to the train station, then fifteen minutes to central Amsterdam.

β β β β β Good hotel. A real bastion with a moat. during our stay, we blissed out all the time. Everything in the hotel and around it is conducive to creation. There is a McDonald's in the courtyard of the hotel, which makes it possible to have a socially accessible meal at any time.
The only concern was from other guests who were very loud. This happens.
