★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So expensive and very poor service. I’ve taken my bike there to fix my flat tire and when I picked it up I’ve noticed that my breaks were making a weird noise. The day after I went there, they took a quick look and said it’s fixed. Guess what... it was not. In addition, two days after got same flat tire.
By the way, my bike continues with the same problems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every time I've tried to use Black Bikes for any service I have been disappointed. The service is expensive and the quality is low. Most recently I dropped off my bike for a tune up, and I was surprised when they said I would need to wait eight days. I waited nine days... Was ready to pick up my bike... Called to confirm and instead was told that no one had started any work on the bike yet and that repairs would cost 250 Euros. This is over a week after I dropped off my bike.
My bike did not need 250 Euros of repairs, and even if it did, a professional would not let a bike sit in a shop for over a week before contacting the owner. I went to a repair shop two blocks away instead and got faster, cheaper, better service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bikes they have provided to us were not sufficient for a longer day trip. They were rather old and without gears it was not really convenient to ride along the coast with several ascents. Very unfortunate, especially because we were looking for rental bikes for several days.
For 75€ per day we (4) expected appropriate bikes... Most likely due to missing completion in the area. If you can, look for another rental place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The shop takes five full days for a simple maintenance of the bike, beyond the initially indicated time. They also did not tll the price of the maintenance when taking the bike, which turned out to be starting from 75 Euro (!) and going up! I am highly unsatisfied with the price and with delayed service. Avoid this shop!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got a lovely Oma fiets with a modern twist and lots of helpful technical advice. At first I was trying to configure myself an Azor bike through the Azor website, but this proved challenging so I sought help from the Zwarte Fietsenplan team. They invited me to their shop to do the configuration together. I ended up getting one of the bikes they had in stock at the shop and also bought accompanying accessories there. They allowed me to test the bike in advance and then did a full technical inspection. I am really happy with their personal approach and support and highly recommend them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly, up-beat and seemingly competent staff.
However, I did not quite understand how the repair bill for my bike was made up (no pun intended!), certainly as I found it to be rather steep, in relation to what had been done to my bike.
When I asked how that price came about, I was swiftly told it was a calculation error and was then charged (just) half of the original repair costs. Although no specification breakdown was shown, these costs then seemed acceptable to me...
This could, of course have been a fluke incident that won't occur again...
