β β β β β Careful, the prices on the website are tricky. It's 7 euros per day for a pedal brake + 4,5 for the insurance. Bikes are not that good, nothing to carry your little stuff

β β β β β Is a total scam, The advertisment says you can rent a bike from 9 β¬, and is totaly false, you are obliged to pay the insurance, therefore is a deceiving publicity, and also if you return your bike 2 hours late instead of charging you for their 3 hors rate, you have to pay for the full day. They shoud advice this when you are renting.

β β β β β I hired a bike from here for a week. Decent bike and the rental price was good value for money. They also open untill 8pm which is useful.

β β β β β If I can put a negative star I would. Didn't think returning their bikes would be a such a pain. Instead of helping us first time renter's and visitors to Amsterdam, this middle aged lady at one of location was being down right condescending. Even though it was their fault for not having any of our information saved on their system or the bikes scanned out. I mean they took a photo copy of my id and my credit card...Her words exactly "now now, were all adults here, maybe you should have kept the receipt" "are you guys leaving? I have other things to do" Funny thing is the guy that gave us the bikes just told us drop it off any location. Did not even give us receipt! So without a receipt we couldn't return the bikes. Hilarious. We eventually had her call the store that we rented from and she then said "you guys can go it was a system error" and then just waved us off. No apology for her words or actions. Ridiculous.

β β β β β A trust worthy bike shop! I have been a customer of Black Bikes for couples of years already. I recently moved to this neighborhood and continued to be Black Bikes customer. Service is great as always. Staffs are extremely friendly, polite and knowledgeable. You will know in advance how much the cost is, which is super fair. What else you can ask for more. Five stars!
