VERY DISSAPOINTED. I had my rhinoplasty here at 19 and for a few MONTHS after the surgery, it looked ok. I was waiting for it to look better as this is what it said on many places online. However, as the swelling reduced, my nose was still bumpy, crooked and 4 years later, the tip has gotten droopier and droopier. Also, my nasal holes are uneven and there's like excess skin on the other side. Basically from everything I went in to correct NOTHING was corrected. Even after this surgery people have asked me have I broken my nose because it's crooked. A total waste of money and time. If you don't believe me, check out the photos below taken today.

Excellent clinic, very professional and friendly staff that puts you at ease. dr. L.P. van der Weij and his collaborators are all fantastic people. There you certainly don't feel like a patient but more like in a family environment.

Almost 4 weeks ago i had a ear correction ( otoplasty) by doctors stengs . Operation took little more than 2 hours, as my left ear was little complicated and doctor has to put some extra stiches. It was little painful. After one week my head band was took off and i was happy to see big changes.. it took another week to settle as i had no feelings in ear because of anesthesia. They were swollen also after 4 days all swollings went off And slowly stiches are drying and going off to. Well it was a life changing experience Waiting for finial results ?

I called the neurology department to try to schedule a consultation with a neurologist about issues related to brain injury. The first woman had heard of my issue but stated she was not a doctor or assistant and transferred me to the assistant in the neurology department. The assistant proceeded to tell me she’s never heard of it and gave her opinion, after stating she was not a doctor. This clinic should educate its assistants to know their role, not to overstep their role, and the difference between a doctor and an assistant. I got in immediately at another clinic that right away knew of the problem and are helping me address the issue.

I read the reviews before going but I was thinking it cannot be that bad ... IT CAN. Arrogant doctor, acting like he was doing me a favor, you are not doing me a favor on my money. I think they should let someone with better interpersonal skills explaining the procedures and they just do the intervention. Save yourself energy and go somewhere else!

I am very satisfied with the results and the attention I received in Boerhaave was always top. I did a breast augmentation with Dr. Van de Kar. He is very experienced and knew exactly what I wanted. I always felt in good hands, even though I had no previous recommendation. The recovery was fast and no complications at all. I am very happy with my new breast.

In may 2021, at Boerhaave clinic I asked to do just a small and simple upper eyelid-correction, it was done by Dr. van de Kar. To my surprise no medical tests were done before the operation, not even blood exam.. besides during the operation the anesthesia didn't work and for 7 seconds I could feel the pain ... also no after-operation care, I was just sent home straight away with paracetamol ... Nothing was explained to me on the complications... Finally the doctor didn't remove what we agreed - on one eye it's still there, but he over-cut the place he should not which is causing me physical discomfort now.. The result after 5 months is: visible rough scar on my right eye looking like I had an accident, smaller eyes and different shape from each other. It looks like two different people operated two eyes.. I constantly feel dry-ness and have pulling effect on my right eye, especially when I lift eye-brows.. Honestly, my eyes looked much better before the operation! Now I am wearing glasses with thick frame all day to cover the results of this "plastic surgery"... :( I had two post-operational visits with Boerhaave doctors explaining them my issues but they denied my concerns.. although all specialists I've consulted in other places are saying that the quality of my operation is very poor... All in all it costed me a lot of stress, energy and money: on different post-consults, cosmetic therapy trying to fix this errors done by the dr. van de Kar, and probably I will have to correct this when I am better recovered - I asked Boerhaave to compensate at least my financial costs, but I didn't get any reply! .. It doesn't look like they consider people concerns or looking for patient's satisfaction, it's just all about the money! So, girls - be careful while choosing your clinic / doctor, read reviews and take care of your health making sure you are in a good hands!

As I am getting older and therefore harder to lose weight because of various operations and immobility, this clinic is a life saver for me so I can add more productive years, lose weight sooner, and maintain my weight by exercising. What I like is the outstanding expertise of the plastic surgeon Dr. Enajat and all staff for providing excellent care with an extra incentive and cost of being able to stay over for 1 night if they indicate it is needed. Very easy to get in touch with staff as well. Excellent as I am used to always going home the same day with clinics, whereas this added benefit is definitely wonderful. Thank you!
