★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Op een steenworp afstand van de markt ligt deze 'verscholen' tuin. De Cour Solanus is, evenals het ernaast liggende missiehuis St. Franciscus Solanus, vernoemd naar Franciscus Solanus (Franciscaanse heilige uit Spanje, ook bekend als 'Apostel van Midden-Amerika').
De tuin was initieel een kruidentuin met daarin een pesthuis. Onder Frans bewind deed hij dienst als speelplaats, vandaar de naam 'Cour'.
This 'hidden' garden is a stone's throw from the market. The Cour Solanus, like the adjacent mission house St. Francis Solanus, is named after Francis Solanus (Franciscan saint from Spain, also known as 'Apostle of Central America').
The garden was initially a herb garden containing a plague house. Under French rule he served as a playground, hence the name 'Cour'.
