About De Belg
In onze PATAT-zaken heb je keuze uit eindeloos veel sausen. De sauzen van Rijk Lam zijn de basis voor onze sausen. Deze zijn de afgelopen 28 jaar tot een kunstwerk geworden. Na het overlijden van Rijk Lam, heeft Daniel de chefkok Andre ingeschakeld om het assortiment complete te maken. Deze speciaal ontwikkelde sauzen voor de BELG zijn uniek en het receptuur van deze sauzen is exclusief verkrijgbaar bij De Belg. Bovendien is er elk seizoen een special, gebaseerd op de smaken en opbrengst van dat seizoen. Naast deze mayonaises serveren we ook een warme pindasaus naar Indonesisch recept. Maar uiteraard ook Remia en alle bekende sausen. Ook niet onbelangrijk: al onze sauzen zijn vrij van conserveringsmiddelen, geur, kleur- en smaakstoffen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing. Great fries and awesome workers. Let me tell you a story. One day I visited De belg with my last five euros in hand. I was yearning for some good quality fries. I purchased the lil kleine with a simple joppie sauce. But fate would not have me enjoy this succulent dish. As if the wind god himself was jealous of my fries. They suddenly fell to the ground with a thunderous clap as the sauce ran down my sneakers a immense feeling of frustration and sadness consumed me entirely. As i slowly walked away an angelic voice called me back. It was him yes one of De belg employees. Het took my now devastated fries and gave me a new batch with a smile on his face. As he told me don't worry a warm feeling came rushing in. "Yes fries I could enjoy them again." Al thanks to good service my day was saved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small, but expensive portions. The fries are nothing special. But then, what can you expect in the middle of the tourist area. I am Dutch, from a nearby city with less tourists. But with so much better and cheaper street food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend ordered truffle mayo and the guy gave her ketchup + mayo, charged her more and did not want to take it back for the correct order after she asked politely. Horrible service, they do not care about the customer. Try Vlaamse Frites, A+ compared to these losers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very busy store in Amsterdam. The fries were hot and salty which was great. Fast service considering the size of the line. Multiple different sauces available to choose from. €3 for small €4 for medium and €5 for large. Sauces cost extra starting at 80cents.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best fries that I had in Amsterdam I tried a couple places but this one hits the spot. You have to try patatje oorlog with satè saus you want regret it but to people with allergy do not try the satè saus it is with peanuts. Try the other sauces.
