★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looks cozy from outside, unfortunately the service is terrible. The tables are not cleaned up on time. I’ve been waiting for my coffee for 15 minutes, then it turned out the waitress forgot what exactly I ordered. When I mentioned that I need to leave soon, I got told off by her because I dare to assume that one person could do more than she is already doing. It was especially unpleasant since I saw her serving people that arrived later then I ordered. This rude attitude spoiled the entire experience although the coffee and pastry are alright. Cappuccino is on the stronger side like in most Dutch cafes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi. I visited this place once in the recent past (2020). Ordered an omelet with mushrooms and *no* bacon. I asked multiple times for no bacon, both in English and Dutch. You are guessing right, I got bacon (photo attached). I didn't feel like ruining my day, so I ate around the bacon. That actually spoiled the meal, as the bacon was wholly intertwined with the rest of the dish.
When paying, I brought it up. The response was like: "yea, you got bacon, I have spoken to my people about it." No offer of an apology or a way to get even. That was it from them. Also, that was an admission that they knew about the mistake, but have done nothing to rectify the situation. They would have remained silent.
Fine. A terrible meal, no empathy whatsoever = the lowest mark possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not eat in — really slow service, even though there were hardly any customers and we ordered one thing from the menu, almost all of which required no preparation/cooking. Staff did not seem well trained.
