The most disgusting place ever. There is an employee who works there- he is tall, white, black hair and wears glasses. My boyfriend and I had entered the shop looking for the chocolate covered waffles. As soon as we walked in, we saw the employee cleaning his glasses with windex and DID NOT WASH HIS HANDS AFTERWARDS! He then asked us what we wanted and we told him we were interested in the waffles. And so, he went and TOUCHED OUR FOOD RIGHT AFTER HE WAS CLEANING HIS GLASSES WITH WINDEX. I told him that I saw him doing that earlier and that it's completely unsanitary of the fact that windex is a very harmful cleaning solution that could damage the body internally. He complained and got extremely annoyed and cursed at us after us asking him to get another one using proper utensils for it. After that happened, we had left the store very unimpressed. Just a heads up, if you ever see someone using their bare hands to touch your food, never trust it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here to get some churros, and the man working behind the counter was quite rude to me. He seemed like he was being friendly, but he made an inappropriate comment about my appearance when I was asking him about the different bakery items, and then proceeded to mock me for my nationality throughout our entire interaction. I wanted to leave, but it was quite cold outside, so I sat with my churros in the eating area. When I was getting ready to go after finishing my food, the man mocked me again for asking if there was a place to recycle my bottle of water instead of throwing it in the trash.
The churros were average, the service was horrible. Don't waste your money here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible place to eat some waffles. My friends and I decided to stop there for a snack because the displayed food was mouthwatering but in the end I wish we hadn't tried. The waffles were frozen or stale, they weren't fresh nor were the churros. On top of that they were extremely expensive for what it was, 7euros each. For this price, I would have liked something edible. I am very disappointed by this place and wouldn't recommend it to anyone

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here only for strop waffles. And they’ve been very good. They have a lot of things to taste. But the service is bad. The stuff just doesn’t care about you and looks at you wishing you leave them (it felt like that). They don’t have toilet (weird). But I wouldn’t recommend this place cause you don’t feel welcomed there. I even didn’t take pictures of that place and of our food because it felt not good. Hope they will change it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too expensive. Unfortunately all the normal bakkeries were closed on sunday, and because of yesterday’s storm, so I had to buy here... €5,50 per ‘special’ muffin ?
Over €20,- lighter for 4 muffins... Please people, I recommend you to go to Albert Heijn instead of wasting all your money here...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worse place in Amsterdam to visit... Poor quality, dirty place, stale waffles, NO toilet, disgusting tea and my plastic knife broke in the first dunk of my waffle! No proper cutlery either! Extremely dissapointed as it is minutes from the Dam Square.
