β β β β β The hotel was super nice and super friendly staff. Everything was clean & we were able to check in early as well as checking out later. It is a bit far from inner city but we knew that when we booked. Was no Problem to catch the Train.

β β β β β Practically this hotel is awful. The room doors are not soft closing so if they're let go, they slam. This slam then makes the large wooden headboard (which is at least 75% of the ceiling height) bang against the wall too. When placing items on the wooden side tables, also attached to the headboard, this can again be heard from neighbouring rooms. Finally, the light switches attached to the headboard can be clearly heard when being switched on neighbouring rooms.
I'm confident we disturbed our neighbours at least twice late at night as we went out our normal bedtime routine of simply turning lights off.
House keeping seemed focused on speed, we walked past another room and saw them running the hoover round purposely banging into the floor lamp and chair purely to get done quicker.
When they were in our room, the bed was not made, replacement loo roll not supplied, dust was everywhere, no was hoovering done.
Tea, sugar, coffee and milk all missing from the room.
None of the draws or wardrobe doors are soft closing either, more noise.
The other hotel staff were wonderful.

β β β β β This hotel was advertised as "close to the city center of Amsterdam" ... well, it isn't ... not even close! Don't get fooled like we were!
It's situated in a business park near the highway but quite far from the center! On top of this, the tram line which was supposed to take us to the center was out of order. Result: we had take our car (even then, it took about a 15 minute drive to the museumplein, which is still outside of the town center). Given that parking in Amsterdam is outrageously expensive, we would have been better off to stay in the center of town. (We ended spending about 100 euro in parking fees)

β β β β β Room was alright with a view of the office buildings. The sandwich from the restaurant was great though. The room was a bit dusty though, which was not appetizing to drink water.

β β β β β I have no idea how this hotel gets itβs 4 star rating. The fridge in the room doesnβt work and the service leaves something to be desired. My husband asked for sauce for fries we had bought while out and a gentleman at the restaurant was rather unpleasant. When complaining to reception about the rude staff, we were told the hotel loses money from people asking for free sauceβ¦ like really how much can you be losing for the odd packet of ketchup?! In the first place they could politely ask us to purchase the sauce which we would happily have done. They gave us the sauce and apologized for the rude staff member but honestly that is not 4 star quality service. Definitely would not recommend or come back.

β β β β β Nice hotel, but my fairly expensive noise canceling earplugs was stolen from my room, and there have been no follow from the hotel regarding it, even if I have emailed and called about it several times.
I notified the reception as soon as I discovered them being gone, but nothing but default we will look....
So be aware lock down everything you can, or just opt out of having your room cleaned if you have to stay at this hotel.
