R	Rolf Mierhen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zz.nur ein Stern fast alles geschlossen, und alles überteuert, eben Hauptbahnhof Aber Lidl ist immer sehr günstig, und manchmal sind bei Lidl Mitarbeiter sehr unfreundlich, weil sie wohl überfordert sind, der Bahnhof als Einkaufsort ist nicht das war der Bahnhof mal war. R	Rene P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Einkaufsbahnhof Essen wirkt so, als ob Polizei und DB-Sicherheit aufgegeben hätten: - Auf dem Bahnhofsplatz jede Menge Bettler, die einen direkt ansprechen. - Div. verwahrloste Gruppen in unterschiedlichen Stadien des Alkoholkonsums diskutieren auf dem Vorplatz, wer das letzte Bier bezahlt hat. - In der Haupthalle bahnt sich eine Schlägerei an. Vielleicht ist ja am Ostermontag das Bier ausgegangen? - Vor Kamps wird man mit 20cm Abstand angebettelt, ob man 2Euro hat. Anscheinend muss wohl auf Tetra Pack Rotwein ausgewichen werden. - Auf dem Rückweg vom Bäcker muss man einer 10-köpfigen Gruppe ausweichen, die den Ausgang blockiert. Keinen Abstand, aber immerhin hatten die noch Bier... - Von Polizei und DB-Sicherheit habe ich in der ganzen Zeit (insgesamt 10-15 Minuten) genau 0 Leute gesehen. Fazit: Brötchen, Blumen, DM und sonstiges erledige ich demnächst woanders. Durch die vielen nachträglich eingebauten Läden gibt es einige Engpässe und in den Durchgangsbereichen kann es bei größerem Publikumsverkehr zu Staubildungen kommen. Ansonsten gepflegt und mit Sicherheitspersonal, meistens an Stellen, wo es nicht notwendig ist. Durch die für diesen Bahnhof typische Mittelebene ist schnelleres Umsteigen möglich. Liegt zentral in der Stadt, ist mit ÖPNV sehr gut erreichbar und hat meistens alles da. Die Öffnungszeiten sind genial und Preise trotzdem normal.
