★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely restaurant friendly staff. Food was wonderfully presented tasted great but was very rich. Home cooked bread was great with the different butters. Picture taken was the duck breast dish. An amuse bouche was served to which was a lovely surprise from the chef. Would definitely recommend for authentic local dishes. However if you are thinking of taking an elderly person (or unsteady on feet) there are steep stairs to the seating area and more when you go to the toilet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OK experience to know that we won't be coming here again. Definitely overpriced. OK food, OK service, cute place and location. Payed 96€ for a bottle of house wine, corn soup, a main dish with chicken and two glasses of aperitifs. Nothing special, was nice that we could get a table without reservations because, yes, the place was not busy at all and still the waiter wasn't very attentive and we also had to wait for a while just to have the menu handed to us. Yep, won't be coming here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was amazing, I had the autumn set menu and every course was excellent. Quantity was also abundant, and bread with some very tasty spreads was provided too. Service was good, though when I walked into the place the waiter claimed it was fully booked and went to check with the owner, though during the evening it was almost half empty so it felt like he was just trying to pretend they are busier than they actually are. Or maybe it was just my wrong impression.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Atmosphere in this restaurant is great, service is friendly and location very quiet but still close to the tube station which makes it very easy to reach. We went for the "tasting menu" which allows you to taste all staters and desserts on the menu plus having a full main. That is definitely a lot of food to eat as the main are on the plus size. Out of the 6 starters 3 where very good: asparagus soup, smoked seabass and the black pudding and apples. Out of the 6 desserts I would recommend the crème brulée and the vanilla bavarois with berry. Main waise the pork and the veal were both delicious. If I was going back I will definitely not go for the tasting menu as some of the items were not very interesting but would go for those few dishes which I know are scrumptious

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow...what an amazing experience. The tasting menu was amazing. Probably one of the best meals I've ever had. Local, diverse and delicious.
We were lucky enough to eat here with just a day's advanced reservation. Amsterdam is just coming out of the Covid lock down. Usually it takes over a week to get a table. I understand why.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing!! We did the summer tasting menu. And ordered the veal and chicken entrees. Food was delicious and the people were so incredibly friendly and kind. I plan on recommended this to everyone.
