★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ripped me off with fuel. It was supposed to be full, but it wasn't. They said it was a quirk with the Renault cars that it didn't show full. Absolute rubbish! When I filled up to return it I paid for several litres more than I used - a full tank. And the meter showed full in the car. The desk guy said he would look into and email me as I didn't have time to wait as I had to catch my plane. No email received, no refund given. They are con artists! The reviews about Hertz are spot on: don't trust them. Do not use them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst service ever, could argue that it was a scam. I booked a car with them online for one day for 35 euros only later to realize that I eventually paid 120 euros (that is almost 4 times the price they advertised), claiming that I needed to pay airport fees. When I asked them if they find it acceptable to charge 4 times the price they claimed, I would get no response. I will NEVER EVER come even near this company again. If there were negative starts in the review, I would put -3!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the very first place that I have ever rented a car and they did a great job. I used Avis car rental services and both men behind the desk were extremely nice and knowledgeable about their services. We got there early and we were able to rent out car early as long as we returned it on the same return day, just at the early time. The man behind the desk made jokes and was very accommodating. Getting in and out was really fast and efficient. They did a great job.

A simple Invoice received with bunch of errors and to reach someone in Hertz on the phone IS IMPOSSIBLE!
VIA E-MAIL ....well, an automatic reply saying that they will take care of our problem the next 10 days.....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I often rent cars with different companies. With Hertz (the one located in Eindhoven airport), they always try to trick us to charge us extra costs.
They either try to charge you ‘extra borders costs’, whilst you rent a car in Eindhoven (south of the Netherlands) to go to Antwerpen (1h drive, north of Belgium) which makes no sense since that’s within the EU. Moreover those costs weren’t mentioned on their website when booking, so they cannot claim extra costs afterwards.
Or they can confirm you at the counter that the max time to bring back the car is midnight, whilst they charge you ‘extra day costs’ afterwards. When your employees make statements to customers, if you’re an honest and trustworthy company, we must assume their saying and don’t charge extra costs afterwards. The most frustrating thing is that they will always argue and make you feel like a thief, while they lied to you. That company is a scam.
I totally don’t recommend this rental company. Rent your car with another company located at the airport, they don’t try to trap you.

Update 2021-09-07
After few calls, bad reviews on Google and Hertz survey, the manager sent an email to customer report to refund us the extra charge. We received it.
