D	Davide ghelli santuliana on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience so far in a bike shop in Amsterdam. I was expecting them to perform a simple task (a spoke substitution), which costed me 25€ by the way, and have the bike repaired in two days as I understood they had to order a special flat spoke. The bike was actually ready the following day around midday (went there the late afternoon before), but the bike had been repaired with a regular spoke. Beside the fact that there might have been a misunderstanding, which is fine, when I asked for an explanation, very politely and as a civilized person is supposed to do, the old guy (eyeglasses and big earring) reacted in a very aggressive and rude manner, didn't want to speak or listen to my calmly exposed argument and just accused me of several things, including going to a different shop every time or some other things I'd supposedly do. Indeed he told me that I could leave the bike some more and have 5 (FIVE) spokes replaced with the correct flat model, which is something we never discussed, except from the advice given the day before: "best to have a flat spoke, otherwise the wheel is gonna be unbalanced etc". I think this behaviour is not just humanly and socially unpleasant, but also very unprofessionaly and dishonest. I'd hope the reason doesn't lie in the fact I'm not a Dutch customer, but I admit I thought so. Anyway I suggest to go to another place, if you want to have your bike repaired. I usually go to the same place, but they don't treat mountain bikes and so I I had to change, but Het Zwarte Fietsenplan Oud Zuid proved to be absolutely the wrong choice.

Unfortunately this bike didn't suit/fit me well and I ended up returning it back in couple of days. The staff - especially the lady - here is very knowledgeable and understanding. They go out of their way to help you. I would recommend them highly.

I believe the lady who fixed my Urban Arrow was named Toa. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable and helpful but the bike now feels like it is new again – we could not be more satisfied. Keep up the good work!

Good advise on insurance, accessories. I was in a rush and they prepped the bike in priority. Also they have good software which notifies you when items are ready, emails you invoice.

L	Leda Cera on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I paid 50€ a week ago for new brakes, they just broke today although i never dropped the bike since, and even if i did, it is not supposed to break that easy. I went back and he kept saying that i broke it. This place is a scam, avoid it as much as you can please.
