H	Heleen Van Den Noortgate on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly host, romantic old dutch\english style hotel. Nice breakfast and not too expensive (90 per night) the street is quite noisy though, but stores and restaurants are right around the corner. Recommendable!

He runs around continuously to serve everyone with a smile and good humour. Excellent breakfast in a very elegant room. Tram stop 40 meters from the front door. Tram takes you straight to thw centre of the Hague. 400 meters from the impressive gemeentemuseum. Close to Scheveningen. Free parking in most of the nearby street. Pleasant neighbourhood.
A	Arno Loessner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is fine, but the problem is the person who runs it. We booked a room well in advance and specified the room we had enjoyed in the past. The owner/manager confirmed our reservation during a phone conversation. When we arrived at the hotel, he had no record of our reservation, denied his confirmation, then said we should have written him to remind him. In addition to his poor records , he is very rude. At our request, he called other hotels to help us find another room, but never again with this hotelier.
M	Mark J on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've heard reports that the owner is very friendly and engaging, and in fact he was kind enough to wait for us to check in until 9pm after our train was delayed on arrival. But the woman who was the weekend staff was not considerate at all. We asked that the windows be kept shut after cleaning, but arrived to find them open, and she didn't apologise but responded that at least the drapes were closed. She also was very impolite in the way she informs guests that the garden is for private use only. We were traveling with friends and were told that we had to give up the table that seats 4 people because a family was arriving and therefore they had priority. She couldn't think to offer a solution, which was simply to put 4 settings at another table. Breakfast is basic, but plentiful. But if you want any more water or coffee you'll never see the staff again. Conveniently located at a tram stop. Rooms on the street side are very noisy. There is no air-conditioning so the rooms get very hot and stuffy. Again, she could not think of alternatives, like a fan they had in storage, until we asked repeatedly for a solution. We certainly won't stay here again. The uncomfortable environment will only encourage us to look for another option.

The street noise was significant especially since the windows weren't insulated. It would make going to sleep at a reasonable time difficult.

We were impressed with the size of the rooms and the comfort of the beds! Ed was very helpful and a really great guy. Breakfast is exceptional and he made sure we will were well attended to and threw in some special treats. The hotel is close to the beach (two bus stops) and downtown (near tram) with tons of cute restaurants and shops near by. We would definitely stay here again.
