β β β β β Sometimes, when you read "boutique hotel", you can't help, but wonder if the term is actually code for "small" and "minimally maintained"... but this is not the case with JL No76. This hotel is absolutely perfect. Plush bed, soft sheets, well decorated, all the amenities we forgot we needed, great honor bar - which was a Godsend for jet lag adjusting, friendly staff, extremely helpful concierge, and incredible location all for a great price. Room upgrades were priced fairly and well worth it.
JL No76 is very special and unique.... and I wish there was one in every city!

β β β β β Positive: Very nice boutique hotel in an excellent area. So close to the Van Gogh and the other major art museums. Excellent shopping nearby! The staff was helpful and kind. Negative: We stayed in a basement room, which could have used a little updating, but overall was fine. We could hear a lot from the other rooms which was a little uncomfortable, but still not a big deal.

β β β β β We had such a fun time in Amsterdam. The hotel staff was welcoming and helpful. One particular staff member, Luka went above and beyond. He answered so many of our questions about the city and Covid protocols. Luka is a great example of superior customer service. Thanks to all the made out vacation special.

β β β β β Great hotel for the proposed price. Service desk very helpful and room very spacious and comfortable. Stayed there in Mid-October in 2020. Close to most of the central area and major attractions in Amsterdam. I was able to borrow bike for a day which was nice way to see the city.

β β β β β Overall, I enjoyed my stay. Upon checking in, the staff was nice but my room wasnβt ready (it was around 3:30) they said it needed to be cleaned. The room was spacious but not clean. The carpet was dirty & there was a drawer that had trash inside it. But the bed was comfortable & checkout was quick & easy!

β β β β β Very convenient location at a very good price. Staff is really nice. Only thing they can improve is cleaning the carpets as they are sΓΊper dirty and gives an uncomfortable feel at the room. Everything else is really nice.

β β β β β Bad staff, our room was not cleaned nor did we get fresh towels.
We had to put trash next to the bin because it wasnβt emptied our entire stay.
When we asked the receptionist for fresh towels we had to pick these up ourselves. And he went on a discussion with us. And he only apologized when he was confronted about his behavior. He did not seem very sincere.
Other receptionist was helpful with our bike rental.
