The staff generously allowed me to check in early because my room was ready (won't always be the case for all guests), front-desk people were very kind and helpful at all times, breakfast was delicious, and room service was amazing. I stayed in a small single room and it was exactly what I needed: bed, TV, private bathroom with shower. I was traveling alone so this was the perfect room for me and in my opinion the room looks even cleaner in person than in pictures. If I were to come back to Amsterdam, I'd definitely choose this hotel! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel with really friendly and welcoming staff and in a great location. It's an old building which is charming but has tended to compromise the facilities. The room was very small and an awkward shape and the bed had no headboard so it was a bit uncomfortable. There is a lift to the rooms so use it; don't try the stairs, they're suicidal! The central location pushes the price up but it's by no means the most expensive. Breakfast is relaxed and very well catered.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a room to celebrate my birthday and such a incredible reaction non commercial from their part : red vigilance in Amsterdam due to a storm at 120km/h. All the tranports cancelled from and to Amsterdam. No possibilty for me to come and they didn’t postponed my reservation ! Never be faced with such a non commercial service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our stay here, perfect for our 2 night stay, located right in the museum square, our welcome on arrival at reception and for the whole trip was so warm and friendly, we were made feel at home right away and got a great description of the city!! We arrived super early but we're allowed check in as our room was ready and we're even upgraded to a bigger room, the room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was the perfect location to explore from and right around the corner from a tram to the centre of the city! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend! Thank you Hotel Aalders! ?
