J	Jacob Frost on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice location but not what we expected. The ‘annex’ building could only be described as a large shed in the garden with 5 odd very small rooms. The standard of the rooms was not great, they were modern and would have been very nice if they were kept clean. We had mould in various places around the room, and the walls were so thin, we were woken one night to our neighbours being sick! Upon check in we were given the cards and went to the room, but were stopped by the cleaners saying they hadn’t even done it yet! So we had to wait further. The old bed linen is left outside in the rain (which probably contributes to he mould.) and after our room had just been cleaned, the toilet smelt of poo, for a few days after. On our first day, the shower was clogged with what I can only describe as slime, and had to pick that out as the maintenance people never came. So not really what we expected for even a 3 star hotel.

There’s a lack of ventilation which can make the room quite stuffy, especially if someone has a hot shower. That all said it’s in a great location, and the staff were friendly. Would stay again in the milder months.

And its a perfect location in the middle of Amsterdam with the Museumsquarter and Joordan only a few minutes away.

The wardrobe space could have been bigger but it wasn't an issue. I particularly liked the bathroom as the shower water pressure was great and the mirror had lights on it - perfect when I was doing my makeup. The safe, wifi and TV were free to use and the light could be turned off/on next to the bed (you don't have to get up to turn off the light). Comfortable beds too!

We booked the larger double room 15m², which was more than spacious enough for 2 people and their luggage. I loved the super friendly personnel, the indoor garden/ bicycle parking and the fact that we had a water boiler. Some of the towels were falling apart and stained (but were changed every day). You could hear people in the hallway and when the main door was shut without slowing it down, but generally had a good night sleep.

M	M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The building is quite old and so is the interior design of this hotel. The staff is friendly. An earlier checkin was unfortunately not possible. The rooms are generally small but we got quite a "spacious" double room. However, the bathrooms (I checked 3) are super small. Ours was tiny. There is no curtain or glass protection in the shower, so whenever you shower, the whole bathroom floor is flooded. It's also not very clean. When we checked in, our bedsheets, pillows and curtain already had stains. The best thing about this hotel is the location. I loved being able to walk around and find many restaurants close by.

You also could not fully open the bathroom without hitting the bed Our previous accommodation had canceled on us shortly before our trip, I was frantically trying to rebook and selected it as it was walking distance to museums. I would not stay here again
