Disappointed to receive a €70 parking ticket whilst parked In the car park.
Upon questioning the front desk, it was explained that the carpark does not belong to Ibis and that a independent company monitors all parking and will issue fines for any vehicle without a valid ticket.
This was not explained at checkin. Nor were any signs in place in the hotel to indicate that you have a matter of minutes to obtain a ticket before receiving a fine.
I Selected this hotel as its location was near to my work and advertised parking availability.
But-- you don't have Parking !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything was really good, up until it came to check out and the guy was probably sleeping behind in the office. I had an early check out and a tight schedule for the train. I spent 10-15 min trying to get the guy’s attention and ended up missing my train that made me almost miss my flight.
Overall the stay was good though. The rooms are neat with all the essentials, the staff is nice and the service in general is really good. Everyone was willing to help all the time and was also friendly while doing so.
The breakfast is expensive though, but only because usually I don’t eat a big breakfast so the price isn’t justifiable for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible stay we had last night in this hotel. We got an allergy from the bed linen. No extra bath towel and toilet paper given even after requesting. Cold morning breakfast with stale croissants . Manager refused to compensate for this uncomfortable stay and pathetic service . Please think twice before staying here. BIG car park problem here as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Air conditioner in room 421 is terribly loud even on low fan setting. The rest is good. Breakfast is prepared for each person in a box that should be taken to the room.
I recommend to add USB sockets.

good breakfasts and the service extremely nice and helpful.
Location absolutely the best, the very center in front of the bus and train station, I recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very pleasant staff. Check-in was easy. Good rooms, with our group together as requested.
Parking was a little annoying and there are not enough electrical plugs in the rooms.
However this is a great location and great place to stay. I will stay there again if I am lucky enough to visit Leiden again.
