Het ontstaan van Kahuna
Ken je dat verhaal van die gasten die naar Hawaii gingen om wel even in een weekje te leren golfsurfen op killer waves? Die kregen de Hawaiiaanse oppergod Kāne (a.k.a. ‘the big Kahuna’) én de EHBO-afdeling van het Honolulu Hospital even van héél dichtbij te zien… Aangezien gips en golven geen gezonde combinatie zijn, maakten ze vervolgens de rest van de week vooral kennis met echte Hawaiiaanse eettentjes en hun ‘poké bowls’. En ze waren meteen zó verknocht aan deze gezonde kommen met exotische ingrediënten dat ze ter plekke besloten om deze naar hun thuisstad Breda te halen.
Kahuna Breda was geboren...
