Een eindje verder bij een bruggetje kun je eventueel je auto parkeren en daar begint ook een wandelpad dat langs het kasteel gaat. Rondom het kasteel is het privé terrein maar je kunt er heel dichtbij komen. Het is een monument maar het is dringend aan restauratie toe. Eigenlijk is het geen echt kasteel maar een groot landhuis, ooit van een adellijke familie. Maar voor liefhebbers van oude gebouwen en nostalgische sfeer moet je hier zeker eens gaan kijken. A beautiful location! This castle is totally unexpected along a main road. A little further at a bridge you can possibly park your car and there also starts a walking path that goes past the castle. The castle is surrounded by private grounds, but you can get very close. It is a monument but it is in dire need of restoration. Actually it is not a real castle but a large country house, once belonging to a noble family. But for lovers of old buildings and nostalgic atmosphere, you should definitely take a look here.
