The kids-corner makes this restaurant ideal for families with children, although some parts of the kids menu were not really suited for children. Pricing is good. The only real turndown was the awful espresso they served us.

I did order the cheese cake for dessert and that was just lovely. It was actually filling and I don't think I would've been able to finish it if the main course was filling. So in the end it worked out. Going for some bread in the beginning or a starter might be a good idea if you like to eat well for dinner. Quality was good though!

M	Marjolijn McCabe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today Kroast was not officially open, due to event, but they found a spot for us to enjoy a lovely rosé and some delicous cheese. Great place for kids, but also awesome to enjoy a kid-free afternoon yourself. Wonderful and personal service!

K	Kristof on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It seems my previous, not so raving review, got misplaced. So here's a new one. The owner asked for a second chance, so I went to Kroast again today after almost a year. Service is still slow. It took the waitress 10 minutes to take my drink order. There were only five tables occupied. She did apologise for the long wait, though. The food I ordered took a good twenty minutes to get served. I ordered the burger and chips. There's a little salad on the plate that looks dehydrated and the small cuboid carrot cuts were also a little poor looking. A little dressing would have been nice. The chips are the minimalist curved chips you get these days - they're like thick and oblong potato crisps and when you look along them, they look like a C instead of a square. so you actually get a lot less than what it looks like. They make you feel like you got a poor deal. A lot of places have started serving these lately and they're an absolute rip off and IMHO, not worthy of the name "chips" or "fries" Also, the burger is SMALL! When I say small, I mean small. When you lift the top of the bun, the burger is actually smaller than the bun. A lot smaller. Compared to the popular burger places in Amersfoort, this is a children's burger. The taste of the burger however is phenomenal. This is easily among the best tasting burgers in town. It's a pity there's so little of it and you have to wait quite a while to get it.
C	Cristina on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing restaurant with relaxing outdoor seating. Inside, you can find comfortable restaurant furniture and a great music playlist. There is an indoor play area for the kids and a caring restaurant nanny to help watch over them. If need be, there is a diaper changing area by the bathrooms. Staff is sweet, attentive, and helpful. And the food is quite tasty and served in large portions. This is my new favorite restaurant.
