★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amsterdam has an overload of steakhouses labelled Argentinian Steakhouses. We decided to try La Casona due to its atmosphere and offers by the window.
We ordered the mixed grill for 2 people with a salad on th side and 2 burgers. The burgers were in the boring end with some dull bread. The mixed grill and salad were however lovely.
We had a great time there, and would overall recommend it as long as you order some proper meat instead of ground beef.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice and cozy place. Everything was perfect, soft atmosphere and food was great, meat was cooked In the way I like (medium rare). There were a pianoforte too! Thanks to the owner, Jolanthe, I've found the best wine, just to fill me like I drink a good one in Italy. I look Forward to come back to eat here again.

Came in and sat down for at least 10 min until they notice us and it wasn’t even busy, we sat next to the cash register where the waitress and owner were. It was constant disappointment left and right with the slow service and poor training of the staff. Should’ve explained better with the meat only and “ complete meal “ dishes as first timers coming to the restaurant we hope to have good customer service. The chimichurri was terrible, was too sour and no flavor. Since the service was super slow just decided to just get a takeaway so end up eating the steaks cold. Had baked potato without sour creme also. Overall hoped to have a good experience but left with disappointment. Such an shame.

The little time I have available for leisure and enjoyment, and they let us wait 30 minutes for drinks and 1 hour for food: there were more people working(4+) then having diner. I live in this street, wanted to try it out: guess that’s not gonna happen any time soon. The waiter promised a drink on the house to make up…of course that never came. We walked out without our food after about an hour.
