β β β β β The hotel was very nice, close to city center and the train station. My room was small, but adequate for just one person. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, with both sweet and salty foods, plus tea and coffee. Only drawback, upon arrival the room was quite cold, I had to turn on the heater manually. Luckily I arrived in the afternoon, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to sleep there.

β β β β β Nice hotel, old grandeur but in the new rooms the bathrooms are ridiculous small. Not worth the price at this point. Furthermore you cannot open the window and close the curtains at the same time. The rails come down. And that's not in one room but in several rooms. The are not mounted correct.

β β β β β Nice hotel. Good position in the center of Groningen, close to the main attractions. Nice helpful staff. Even helped me at breakfast with some no - dairy milk that was not available in the buffet. Clean rooms. Parking nearby.

The staff are very helpful and kind.
The room and especially the bed linens are very clean. The bed is soft and relaxing. The bathroom is rather small, but it has a high rating for the value of money!

Hotel looks old with very basic small rooms. The bathroom is too old fashioned and simple. Breakfast was standard Dutch breakfast. Hotel is 2 mins walk from Martijn tower.

β β β β β Stayed there with m son and a friend of his. The room was clean however the floor seemed to be moving as if it wasn't solid. Bathroom was very small. I didn't know how to close the windows, nor did I want to since I didn't see any form of airconditioning and the noise from the street kept me awake most of the night.
At the bar I had to wait a long time before a barman came to serve me.
Breakfast was fresh and had a large variety however the staff need a bit better communication with each other.

β β β β β A very good hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The location is perfect for exploring the city. The Weeva restaurant is superb! Breakfast is also excellent in terms of quantity, quality and service. The superior twin rooms are ideally sized and very comfortable; a few minor issues of maintenance needed but nothing to really detract from my enjoyment. I will be staying here again when I next visit the city.
