★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fijne bediening! Vlot en GEEN standaardzinnen waarbij men je niet eens aankijkt. Eten was lekker en vers. De plek is niet helemaal top, maar daar waar hè voor komt en uitstekend.
 Nice service! Smooth and NO standard sentences where people don't even look at you. Food was tasty and fresh. The place is not quite top, but it is what it is there for and excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gewoon slecht, de bediening en het eten. Dat bediening casual gekleed is is ok, maar als het er uit ziet alsof je net uit de bar komt…. Lang wachten op de bediening, maar dan komen er ook 3 achter elkaar vragen wat ik wil drinken. Het eten……burrata komt direct uit de koelkast, veel te koud. Carpaccio droog, spaghetti van de AH heeft meer smaak, de gambasaus past er goed bij, ook geen smaak. Kortom, nee, dit is geen aanrader.
Just bad, the service and the food. It's ok for waiters to dress casually, but if it looks like you've just come out of the bar…. Long wait for the service, but then 3 in a row also ask what I want to drink. The food……burrata comes straight out of the fridge, way too cold. Carpaccio dry, spaghetti from the AH has more taste, the prawn sauce goes well with it, no taste either. In short, no, this is not recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vongole starter - not edible, smells revolting, sent back, excuses and offers for a replacement (good God no please!)
Calamari - bland, soggy and oily
Dorade - cacophony of ill-balanced flavors, disrespectful to the fish
Scallopina - bland, tough and basically boring
Spinach - both raw and desperately overcooked on one plate, drenched in oil and deprived of any of it's flavor
Fries (desperate attempt to get something edible but why is this even on the menu??) - dry and uninspired
Rest of the menu - didn't try and don't want to but largely boring
Waiters try to be nice but they are not true professionals and so it's just awkward
Furnishings and atmosphere - cheaply and haphazardly thrown together, no distinguishable vibe of any kind
Clearly this is sub-standard by any account but certainly in Laren people need to be more talented and devoted when opening a restaurant
In Italy this place wouldn't last as a cheap lunch place for more than a month
Let's hope something else opens up here soon!
