Agricultural produce market which takes place only on Saturdays in Nieuwmarkt, opposite the Waag. Beautiful, especially in the lights and shadows of a late November afternoon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuk dat we in de buurt een echte boerenmarkt hebben. Het is een zaterdagsmarkt. Lekker gezond maar zeker niet goedkoop. Wel een uitgebreid aanbod aan eetbwaar. Prima plek om je even te vermaken op de zaterdag.
Nice that we have a real farmers market nearby. It is a Saturday market. Very healthy but certainly not cheap. An extensive range of food. Great place to enjoy yourself on a Saturday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anybody who is visiting Amsterdam and especially if self-catering, then you ought to visit this farmers market. It is only held at Nieuwmarkt square on Saturdays open 9-16hrs. It has stalls with excellent range of cheeses, breads and vegetables. There are other interesting stalls too.
