Oni betekent uitzonderlijk
ONI is begin 2002 opgericht door Jennifer en Paul Man.
Jennifer en Paul doen de naam van hun restaurant eer aan. Niet alleen het interieur en de huisstijl zijn uitzonderlijk, maar vooral de uitgebreide menukaart vol met bijzondere ONI-specials zijn beroemd.
Het moderne interieur is ontworpen door architect Peter Donkers. Hij bedacht de gekleurde verlichting en de ‘catwalk’ die midden door het restaurant loopt. Deze ‘catwalk’ dient als zitbank waar u kunt genieten van een unieke Japanse ervaring.

On a less positive note, the restaurant was quite noisy and the service was on the slow side.

I am disappointed since I have ordered in the restaurant and online before. I was always happy with my order, unfortunately today it wasn't with the best quality and missing sashimi which is my favorite..
