Super good food, very nice interior and friendly employees

Walked in the door and staff wasnt very friendly, no welcome and very cold towards us. The restaurants looks very hip and cool with images on the wall and an open kitchen. Walking to our seats it was clear that the gyoza are storebought brand from the oriental. So nothing special. We ordered a tonkotsu 15 euro, and fried shrimp bowl 10 euro. The waitress mistook our order and brought us the wrong fried shrimp dish, these things happen and didnt bother us, however she was very rude telling us that we ordered something else but she fixed it. even if its true not a great thing to say to customers. Food did come relatively quick Customer service 4 atmosphere 8 Then our food arrived. First impression the food looked appetizing and well plated. The broth of the tonkotsu was quite nice and rich but lost its flavour after the third bite. I didnt see any oilbubbles on the broth so this is probably because there was no flavouring oil used. The broth is a decent 6,5. The noodles were quite thick and chewy and didnt really feel like common ramen noodles, I suspect the ramen noodles are storebought as well, i would give it a 5. The pork cha sui on top was very nice and grilled just before serving which makes a huge difference and is a solid 8. however the rest of the topping were quite dissapointing. All the other topping were very cold to the touch and obviously taken out of the fridge without being heated. The ramen egg had a nice taste but was very cold which really wasnt enjoyable. Rest topping id give a 4. total score 5,9 taste The friedshrimp bowl was horrible, first of all the white rice was very underseasoned and tasteless, again all the topping were very cold and tasteless to boot with the exception of some cabbaage wit mayo and corn. And the main star of the dish the fried shrimp was oily and underseasoned as well. The only sauce given was some mayo on the side which would be fine if the rest of the dish had some flavour. On every table there are some condiments such as chili oil, soy sauce and shichimi. The dish was somewhat better after using these but still not great. Score 3.5 The overal price quality score would be a 4.

Maximum higiene and compliance with COVID rules and common sense! Things as simple as serving food with a face mask on!! Wonderful attention to customers, and incredible ramen. Altogether not an easy combination to find the The Hague. 100% recommended.

Broth is very flat, on dimensional and bland (shoyu and spicy seafood). Texture of the noodles is wrong and is missing the characteristic chewiness of Japanese ramen. The noodles itself is missing flavour as well. The bowl was overloaded with toppings, which might sound great, but has a more Chinese feel than Japanese. Especially for this price point, I expect something exceptional and impeccable.

Awesome ramen! So rich in taste and lots of tasty toppings! Will definitely come back. And so great that the place is open on Mondays during lunchtime!

cozy atmosphere, wonderful staff, and delicious food. we had takoyaki, ebi gyoza, and tokyo shoyu ramen, and it was quite delicious.

We ordered 2 bento boxes for takeaway because of the lockdown and they’re very delicious. As an Asian, I was impressed with how perfectly cooked the rice was. ?? Staffs were friendly as well. They made a little christmas vibe touch for the cutlery, which is pretty cute, however cutlery is plastic.

Great customer care with friendly employees. The Tokyo ramen was really tasty, the broth was thick with a lot of flavour. The minced beef was well done and if you want to go for someone original try the dry ramen, great for summer!
