★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The experience was disappointing. I had called to let them know about keto/low carb diet requirements. When we arrived we wanted to change a dish in the 7 chapters, but this was not possible. You eat what the menu serves. The red flag of inflexibility should have been a warning. The cold food was tasteless and the second dish was full of sugar. Clearly no concern for my diet requirements. I mentioned that I wasn't feeling well due to the sugar and that seemed to make them care a bit more. The warm food was ok, not spectacular. Definitely no repeat.

Fusion cuisine, very creative presentation, taste great
Great atmosphere, great for dating/family dinner
A bit expensive, but good value for money
Excellent service
Highly recommend the veal tongue, frog leg, and non-alcohol cocktail

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately this restaurant was a little bit of a let down. Picked the 9 chapter emperors banquet, but was disappointed by both quantity and quality of the food. After a 9 chapter meal I was not expecting leaving this place hungry, but I did. Also some dishes are disappointing on the quality side. Quail was a little bit dry, tenderloin was almost well done and the Iberico pork was on the chewy side.
Presentation of the dishes was nice, different sets of plates for each chapter, matching the theme of the food. On the food side I enjoyed the pigeon and seabass.
Price is on the higher side, with things like additional charges for sweets to accompany the coffee. Was surprised to see this, I am used to this being included in the coffee price (raising the coffee price slightly of course).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got a home kit and it was a really fun experience! The components of each dish were perfectly packaged, clearly labelled, and the instructions easy to follow. A fun date night / friend night activity to do and of course, tasty as well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an exceptional meal. Every course was just delicious. The tea accompaniment was spot on. The crispy duck was really iconic and should be ordered. This was Chinese cuisine we have never experienced before. The service was very courteous and proffesional. Nice Location, nice food, nice staff and fair pricing. Would highly recommend while in The Hague. Thank you for this experience.
