★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is nice and buzzing. We went from our jog around mid-day from Kranlingse Bos. I really wanted to try pasta which was very average, the flatbread is OK. It is an interesting place but if you are looking for decent pasta, definitely not worth it. You can try the pizzas and flat bread and enjoy the lively buzz.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This authentic Italian restaurant and gelateria fits very well into an old city garage in the beautiful Rotterdam suburb of Kralingen, close to the Kralingsebos and lake.
Very friendly, helpful staff sorts you out with drinks and tasty bread as you browse the restaurants high variety many. Delicious thin crust pizza, beautiful mozzarella, risotto or homemade raviolis, everything is there.
Definitely one of the foody hotspots in Kralingen!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience at Osteria Vicini was bad, mostly because of the incompetence of our waitress. First of all, when I asked if they had a pizza with veggies, she said they had a vegan pizza with tomatoes, rucola, veggies and vegan cheese. I ordered it but when it arrived it was a plain focaccia with some decorative rucola in the middle. Another waitress said there might have been a misunderstanding (!) and didn't offer to replace it. I asked if they could at least add some veggies on the top. They added 7 dried tomatoes and that's it!! The waitress kept being unprofessional/rude/unhelpful the whole night in different occasions, but the worst thing was when at 22.30 (on a friday night) she asked us to leave because they had to close the area of the restaurant where we were sitting. The rest of the restaurant was basically still full!! I found it ridiculous to be asked to leave when so many other people where still there. It's a pity as the restaurant is very nicely decorated inside, food wasn't great but not bad either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is beautiful and we don't have serious complaints about the food, although its not that great in relation to the price. But the service is honestly one of the worst I have ever encountered; I have gone there 3 times and every time they would ignore us and we literally had to go after them to ask for a menu and order. We have also tried to order take away multiple times, but they always said that they're "too busy for that", but then we walked past the place and there were only 3 people sitting... Honestly very disappointing especially in relation to the costs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice restaurant with a unique vibe in Rotterdam. Some members of Staff are very professional. Food has a lot of fluctuations from day to day. Some days is great others not so good. Also delays occur between first and second dishes. Very busy so I suggest to make a reservation in advance. The location is great for a walk close to the lake but parking close to the restaurant can be a challenge. Also open on Mondays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Calling this a margherita is an insult to italian pizza... it strongly tasted and smelled like garlic, and it was extremely oily. Considering the price and quality of this pizza it's very unlikely I will ever come back again
