The food is delicious if not a tad pricy. Service is quick and very friendly.
Would come again!

For 3 euros you'll get a creamy latte with a strong caffeine hit. The cream on top is thick enough to pass the spoon test. (see pictures)
The cafe has some amazing wall paintings and outside there is a historic monument of Johan de Witt and the people watching is enjoyable on the large plein or square.
A great pit-stop place to get energised, get a drink and enjoy the environment, while close enough to many tourist locations like the parlement and several museums.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I keep going back to this review. Palmette is a place of highs and lows. I have had amazing dinners with good food, good wine and good service. But I have also had nights where the service is less than stellar and the food not much above average. They have a chefs menu which can be great if the staff remembers what it is that they are serving you. Unfortunately it does happen that they have no idea, forget which wine they are pairing and such.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not enough food. After paying 40 euros for dinner, I had to go to a fast food restaurant because I was still hungry. Also, the tables are too close to each other and the place is too noisy.
Food quality was better than average, but doesn't compensate for the rest.
