Boutique en stiekem toch best groot. Werelds, maar toch zo intiem. We hebben 140 hotelkamers, allemaal met een eigen, karakteristieke sfeer. Dat komt door de hoge plafonds, knusse nissen en grote ramen, maar ook door de monumentale grandeur die voelbaar is door het hele pand. Zo waan je je soms even terug in de tijd, maar dan wel in een heel modern jasje. We mixen lokaal met internationaal, natuurlijke kleuren met licht en eigentijds design met historie. Luxe en heerlijk toegankelijk voor iedereen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is awesome! Lovely patio with modern, wood and glass aesthetic. We stayed for several hours drinking coffee and lounging after our brunch. The food was all great, the vibe is laid back and relaxing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic service, amazing food and great drinks. We reccomend the steak, the lasagne and also the chocolate cake and sorbets. I had a passion fruit cocktail which was so nice. Waits were not too long and the staff are super friendly. Really reccomend.
Also a beautiful resturaunt, love the inside and the surroundings, so surprised to see how beautiful it is inside. Amazing atmosphere. Best place we've been in Amsterdam so far.
(Also the portions of food we had were pretty big!) Very surprised to see not everyone has left 5 star review.
I think very good value for money!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After an early moring flight from London, this was the perfect meal to sit down to. The burger and homemade chips both amazing! The service was good and a great atmosphere. The attention to detail for the interior design was spectacular, the staff did a great job at maintaining this throughout the afternoon. I look forward to my birthday breakfast here in a few minutes ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok, I understand that every bar, hotel and restaurant is struggling with finding good staff and I'm much more patient then normal, because of that. But this service was really bad. And they were with 4 staff members. Too bad, it is a beautiful place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was a little bit worried cuz the feedback seems not that well as I saw on the google map. But I still came for dinner because the location is good and it’s near to the hostel which I stayed. I ordered the risotto and the passion fruit cocktail which I really loved it! And the service is good. The staffs are very friendly even I sat in the corner which far from the bar and the staffs came several times to check if everything is fine. In short, the atmosphere is nice and I really enjoyed the dinner here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An eye-catching cafe at the edge of the Oosterpark with a stylized interior that draws a very specific demographic: it's a hipster haven complete with a 70's retro feel, fireplace, thirty-somethings and potted plants.
We had a latte with milk and a latte with soymilk. Both cups had a nicely decorated figure on the milkfoam. The foam passed the spoon test and the coffee was served with a mini version of the traditional Dutch 'stroopwafel' on the side.
The taste was a bit disappointing. The soymilk latte had a soymilk aftertaste, but it also had an overpowering watery taste.
The regular latte with milk tasted decent, however, it was served luke warm. The service was friendly and efficient, and as the cafe serves as one of the entrances to the hotel, there's good people watching. An adjacent outdoor seating area is ideal when the weather permits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food choice is limited but that would be expected if the food was great. This was not the case. For 14€ charcuterie board there was almost no bread. And everything else was 2 small pieces of meat! Cocktails weren’t many options as well and even some from the menu weren’t available anymore. The smokey sour was delicious!
On the other hand, the staff was very friendly and helpful!
