★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This DIY store looks very small and unassuming from the street, which makes it quite surprising when you see the scale of the interior. They've got a good selection of hand tools, power tools, blinds, plumbing, electricals, shelving, storage, bicycle repair supplies, and all sorts of other building supplies. There is also an equipment rental counter at the rear of the shop.
The shop is in a good location, it is nice to have a good sized store within walking distance. The Praxis website has a stock checker that is useful if you want to check availability before making the journey.
They accept Mastercard and Visa payments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They've got quite a lot of things, and if it's not too busy and you've got the right person, they'll try to help you think through your project and offer their expertise. Plenty times it's simply too busy, or you'll get some student who has worked there for a month or two, though. And while their selection is big, and competitively priced, it's not necessarily of the highest quality (will get the job done, though).
So all in all, same as any of the big construction markets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was really impressed with my visit here. The staff were really helpful and knowledgeable, and if they didn't have the answer they found a colleague who did!
The selection is also really impressive for a medium sized, city centre store, there's literally no reason for that 20 minute drive out to a larger store near the motorway, chances are they'll have what you need here.
