β β β β β We've booked the Van Gogh Suite on the Prinsenboot. The boat is located in front of the hotel on the Prinsengracht. The suite is very comfortable and the owner of the hotel and his coworkers are very polite. The suite has even a small balcony in which it is very nice to chill at night or to breakfast

β β β β β Wonderful canal view of the Prinsengracht and location within canal ring make this apartment a good, though somewhat pricey, choice. The accommodations were comfortable and relatively spacious for Amsterdamβmind the typically shallow steps up to the flat. Convenient walk to the Metro (and tram) Vijzelgracht stop. Walkable location near the Rijksmuseum at the Museumplein, Museum Van Loon, Rembrandtplein, Munttoren, and the De Pijp (The Pipe) neighborhood. Food nearby: De Carrousel for pannenkoeken and poffertjes (Dutch pancakes); Indrapura for traditional Indonesian rijstafel (rice table); Ponte arcari for deliciously fresh Italian in a cozy atmosphere; take the tram to the Foodhallen (and to the Jordaan neighborhood).

β β β β β Considering the price, the apartment is overly weathered - the floors are scuffed, the walls are missing paint and somewhat dirty, vases and chairs on the terrace chipped etc. Some parts of the apartment are not very clean, ie. cigarette butts and ash on the terrace floor, sticky tables and chairs, mold on the walls. The bathroom is poorly lit and the doors don't close completely. The thing that was perhaps most bothersome was the manager's off-hand and rude treatment of our complaints, which is why we didn't go through with our stay.

β β β β β Nice apartment that is close to tram stop. It's located next to one of the famous canals so it has a very nice view. City center and flower market is less than 10 minutes walk. Close to Deli shop and a small supermarket. The staff is very helpful and check in was fast and smooth. Clean and stylish decorated apartment. Coffee machine, microwave a bar style table, a sound system, and a printer is on site. I really liked the place and will be back for sure.
