★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered jerk chicken, goat curry and ackee saltfish. The food was excellent, though there could have been more meat in the curry (lots of bones and fat). However, as others have mentioned, the value for money is subpar.
Another remark: the order system via Ser.vi QR code may not be for everyone and we found it strange that you are asked to indicate the tip during the ordering process. Service was pretty good though and we are glad we visited the restaurant!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AMAZING. Not even an exclamation because it is just 100% fact, no hype needed. I am Jamaican and I know Jamaican food. Grew up there. THIS is amazing, AUTHENTIC Jamaican food. The staff and owner are the real deal and Ms. Rita.... let's just say, if you want to experience true Jamaica at its best, you don't need to travel further than Weesperplein in the Netherlands. :) They make me so proud and happy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having lived in Jamaica for some time, we searched for a jamaican restaurant in or close to Amsterdam prior to our trip.
Reggae Rita came up, we booked our hotel accordingly so we wouldn't be too far, and our first meal was an authentic Jamaican meal. If it wasn't for the cold, we would have thought we were in Jamaica, the ambiance (music), the language spoken in the open kitchen and of course the FOOD !!!!!
So much items on the menu made we come back the following evening.
Thank you Rita and your wonderful chefs for this trip back to Memory Lane, surely one of the highlight of our trip. We will be back (when it's warmer !!!)

Today I have @reggaerita for you guys it’s an authentic Jamaican restaurant in AMSTERDAM???
This is my 1st time visiting this amazing Jamaican restaurant, and it will def not be my last time. They do takeaways and delivery 2, but you can also have a seat and enjoy your Jamaican soul food. My fav dish was of course the rice and peas with jerk chicken.
The jerk chicken and other wings were marinated till the bone I cleaned my plate like it came out of the dishwasher.
They have everything form oxtail, patties, jerk chicken, ackkee and salt fish, to wingsplater the list go’s on if you think about Jamaican food think about this spot.
They are open from Thursday till Sunday only?
My order:
? Wing platter: Barbi frie, French frie, Jerk wings
? rice and peas with jerk chicken
? rice and peas with ackkee and salt fish
