★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dutch banks have stopped all cheques cashing as of end of 2020. Now I recently received a US Treasury cheque which I can't cash in NL anymore. So found out that Reisebank Krefeld still cashes US Treasury cheques and It is fairly close to the Dutch border. Went there last week and indeed it all worked out. Needed a bit of planning. Come after 12:00 as then "the systems" are available and also be aware of lunch break and closing times. I can recommend this route for others in Netherlands who get Treasury cheques. Can I just walk to one of your branches without an appointment and have this cashed? Is there anything I need to bring (besides the check) in order to have it cashed?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Netherlands stopped with accepting cheques. I received a treasure cheque from the US and I heard from relatives that it is possible to cash it in in Krefeld.
This bank is very approachable and there was a very friendly man working.
For all Dutch citizens, it would recommend this bank and after cashing in the cheque enjoy the city of Krefeld or Düsseldorf.
