โ โ โ โ โ Eric and his whole crew were incredibly efficient, effective AND pleasant as they listed and sold our home in the Amsterdam Rivierenbuurt. As a former real estate agent myself, I am especially critical, and during every part of the process, I was pleasantly surprised with Eric's intelligence and initiative. He communicated clearly and concisely, giving us realistic advice regarding pricing and negotiating as well as during the escrow period. Our buyers worked without an agent, and he seemed to engender trust and have good communication with them as well. Since we'd already moved out of town, he did quite a bit of extra legwork, and without any complaint. He was present for all showings and for various inspections and meetings with the buyers. For sellers in the neighbourhood, I would recommend River wholeheartedly... they're big enough to handle work peaks but small enough to be thoroughly acquainted with their own offerings and the local market.

โ โ โ โ โ if you're looking to buy or sell a house i can't reccomend enough the team here at River.
Our experience was related to looking for a house in this current crazy market and let me say that the money spent with them was the best one we've spent in the whole process.
it took us 8 months to find the right one, we've seen countless houses and always had the support from River's team, especially Eric that took us by the hand and giuded us in this complicated maze that is Amsterdam's real estate market.
They always told what the real value of a house was, what was good and most importantly bad about each house, and that took a lot of stress away as it's such a lot of money that you don't want to unsee some crucial things which are not easy to be spotted.
They gave support very quickly from start to finish, from organizing the visits, visiting the apartments, giving info on other house for sale in the same area, the bidding process, all the way down until you finally sit at the notaryand and shake hands :)
To sum it up:
- extremely fair and well explained costs
- quick and good service
- experience and knowledge
- a human and warm feeling from each memeber of the team in such a delicate phase of your life.
