It was horrible!! The girl messed up my brazillian wax and I had to endure 60 minutes of it. Don’t go here! Better to pay a bit more somewhere else. Really unprofessional!

Always quick and affordable. Almost purely portugese spoken. Some difference in ‘style’ from one employee to the next. I find it entertaining. Recommend!

I've been waxing for 5 years at The Waxing Company but I've stopped going there since the quality has become something between downright awful and a gamble! Some days the depiladora's do a good job and other days (MOST other days) you get a depiladora who's either very sloppy, tired, moody or lecturing you about why you didn't go waxing more often (my business, not yours). To clarify, I have very thick hair which requires more precision/time to remove, but this has been successfully done by multiple depiladora's at The Waxing Company in the past. But I find it odd that my last 4 treatments all ended up with me still finding big patches of hair left and in two cases even loads of residual wax on the area, that wasn't removed properly and ended up ruining my clothing. Every session ended up with me feeling super disappointed and on some occasions even having to go back to correct the work of the previous depiladora. I tried posting my experience on their site, but they don't post it and instead contact me to correct it and tell me that it's normal for me to have some hair left over from the treatment, even though the one who later corrects it is often surprised by the botched job she encounters. Also, I've been to other waxing bars inbetween (like DELETE) where I experienced spotless wax jobs, so I find it odd that this could have happened like this so many times in a row. And I can't keep going for correction jobs after every appointment! Honestly, the love, enthousiasm and attention to detail that I used to experience at TWC is definitely something that's left the building. So I'd rather go to a waxing bar that does a spotless job the FIRST time and also doesn't nag me about waxing more often to make their own work easier :)

where to start? the lady who waxed me didn't even say hello or any other word in any language, the room was dirty and when i entered the window was open... it was 3 degrees outside so the room was freezing... i closed the window and ask to turn on the heating ( after all i have to lay there naked) and she rolled her eyes... after half hour i ask her please to turn on the heating and she said is not good for working... there is no music or anything to make the space warm and comfy, girl was really rude, i asked if she could do my toes ( as is not include in the full leg price, shock, it is what? maybe half gram of wax to do toes?) and she say no because the time was up... really really disappointed and i won't be back for sure... prices are expensive also so... never again

Beware ladies, you will be stalked, if your appointment is on a Saturday, do take Friday off because you will be called repeatedly, and if you don't return the call your appointment will be cancelled! Also, you will be sent multiple emails requiring confirmation and threats of penalty fees for not showing. The waxing job, varies, some are akward and painful and some are good, beware of trying to make a repeat appointment when satified with a particular depiladora, I did so, but was surprised to find a new depiladora twice in a row. When I complained about this I was coolly informed that she was not available and that they were not held to such requests, There's a high employee turnover and get a sense that these women are under a great deal of pressure, they all speak Portugese amongst themselves which is a little akward. I was scuffeled off to a little room to get on with it please... well no, I decided not, so I paid for the appointment and left pleased to report that I will be taking my euros to one of the many other places...

So, last night I got a call from one of your employees, asking if I could reschedule my appointment for the next day. Earlier preferably. I said no, my time is precious I have other things to do. I made the appointment for 2, and a specially in Amsterdam cause in Almere there is just one person working. As my friend an I don’t want to wait for the other to finish. We came there today, right on time. There was no one at the desk to greet us and still 2 customers waiting. Thinking nothing of it we took a seat and waited patiently. As a lady appeared I walked up to the desk and told her that her 12:00 o’clock just got in. The lady told us there was a delay of 1 hour. 1 HOUR!!! We come all the way from Almere, pay for parking to find out we had to wait! Excuse me! You think we have little else to do??? Ridiculous! I asked her to cancel the appointment and left, and will probably never come again. That’s 2 customers you’ve just lost. Good luck with your business in the future...you’re going to need it! I used their service multiple times: there is no consistency in quality. One day you are lucky with the specialist, another day it’s really painful and unprofessional. On certain days you wait for 30-40 minutes to get accepted, when you had an appointment of course. My last drop was when I made a booking in a system, when i came to the salon, it turned out they are closed on Mondays. So, I took time from work for nothing. I will never come back and it’s not worth your time neither!

I had a great experience at The Waxing Company’s salon. I’ve tried many salons in Amsterdam but this is by far the best one. Super professional, quick, flexible and the results are more than perfect and almost pain-free. I have had the Brazilian Wax Treatment and I can recommend it to everybody; Claudia is a lovely person and love going back every month for my treatment. So happy with the service! Raffaella
