Rodeo is an all around nice restaurant ONLY if you don’t go during busy times. I always come for the their superb tenderloin steak which is one of the best I’ve had in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, I went last night with my family and it was very disappointing that 2/5 steaks were not up to standard ,and the rest were either not cooked to as instructed or burnt to the point that it’s inedible. It’s understandable that because of holidays that there are more than the usual guests coming in, and perhaps maybe the food was rushed or there was not much special attention on the dishes as it normally would’ve have been. But that still shouldn’t be an excuse to not deliver a proper meal. We requested one of the steaks to be sent back because it was barely cooked (the steak was literally COLD with no grill marks) as if it was just seared for a quick 20 seconds, we received the same steak but this time burnt to crisps in charcoal and hidden face side down (inside was still not up to temperature). When you’re paying for a steak that is €40+ you’d expect what you’re paying for. In addition, to waiting almost an hour for the food. It’s quite a disappointment for a dinner that we’ve been looking forward to for awhile. In the end, they offered a compensation of one round of drinks. Furthermore, the manager did not even had the audacity to come and talk or explain this to us. It’s appreciated, but it was very sad to see one of my favorite restaurants to give such a negative impression of their “best” steak on the menu. It’s not a terrible restaurant, the staff was very helpful but the meal just left an unpleasant experience for my family and I. Ps. This is a picture of one of the steaks that was cooked accordingly to the request.

My experience was great! My tenderloin was excellent! The waiters were friendly, very friendly and it's a very cozy place to go as well. See for yourself! A must go when you're in Rotterdam!

This is the place to visit If your looking for the best steak you have ever had. Their food was so good it makes other restaurants sirloin taste like dry pork. An absolute must if you love tender meat!!! I will absolutely return next time we are in town?

Very good food and great service. Meat is top quality. Recommendations are the spare ribs and the Combination One dish. The order comes with fries and baked potatoes. Worth a visit.

Lovely place. Prices on the high side but we're in Holland! Tasty cuts of beef served with jacket potato and chips. We were 6 adults but they could only accommodate us on a narrow table.

Excellent restaurant for grill dishes. We chose nachos as a starter: very tasty. As a main course, we took a mixed grill: delicious meat which was well cooked. Service was OK.

Restaurant serving 101, servers shouldn't share sections. I was served by 4 different waitresses none of whom knew what the other had done before and they still forgot our 2nd order of wine. One of them came by soon after the other had just asked if we were ready to order and I said we needed more time and that we're still working on the nachos...which was a generous amount. She then proceeded to argue that we can still order anyway and they'd serve it later blabla...wuuuut? Which part of 'we need more time' did she not understand? I've NEVER before been questioned about when I thought I was to order, and I'd least expect to be at a restaurant that charges as much as they do. To be fair, they've clearly invested in the interiors, the decor, the table napkins, the styling details, so 5 stars for the designer, the food was good so 5 stars to the kitchen, but would it cost them more to train their service staff? No, and yet they don't. I feel for the staff who have tried their best to give service with a smile but clearly something is amiss with the management. If you want to charge top dollar you have to train your staff well too.
