Large queue of people outside. Only one person at the desk. Other members of staff hanging around chatting. β€œFeel the motion” in big letters on the wall behind them. 45 minute wait. I generally have a good experiences with Sixt but this particular office is operating at a comedic level.

Returned the rental car here less than a week ago. Says 24hr returnable on the website, but closed at 1pm and leaves no one on duty. Which was not uncommon. Had to locked the car at their garage and dropped the key to the dropbox. But ended up with a 60.62 EUR fueling surcharge even though I refilled the tank fully at the Shell within 5min drive. Gave the service number a call and responded me that the gasoline level I returned was lower than full. How could this even be physically possible?! I hope this was only a simple mistake and please refund the money that you do not deserve. Otherwise, how would this be different from stealing? Dear Sixt, do your employees really have to ripoff your customer like this? I would be more than happy to purchase a full tank in advance if your accuracy of measurement were beyond reasonable to such an extreme, and only if I could not avoid your service again.

Sixt is usually a solid brand but this location has a poor understanding of customer service. If I book an electric car and at the time of pick up you do not have the car I booked, I expect more than just an ambivalent shrug as recompense for your error / inability.

I have been renting trucks and vans from Sixt for several years and have always experienced great customer service, case in point: recently the removal truck I rented to go to Ireland had a partially empty tank on departure but was fully reimbursed on my return!

I rent vans very often and I have more than 50 rentals with Sixt, I'm Platinum member and usually ok. But this time, I got the van with not full tank and I filled it up, but did not get compensation. I asked when returning the van in person, then sent an email and filled in Sixt form online, but still no answer..Not good enough. Another super annoying thing is that Sixt charges €29.00 of their customer if they get a traffic violation. WHY??? €29 just to resend the email for me? That's really taking advantage of the customer and charging what ever you like...

Charged for fuel costs after booking after the rental. I completed 73km and fuelled up €7 worth of diesel until the van wouldn't take any more. I even moved the nozzle out to really brim the thing... Then I was charged €28 for refuelling!!! Followed up, no response. You ripped me off, won't use you again...

Bad service! The girl at the counter maybe overworked? Her attitude was so bad. The way she answer our questions were so hard and no human touch as a customer service officer. Her posture and demeanor were so uncomfortable. Not helpful at all with issues that we have encountered, asked to see the manager to no avail and told us, 'I have already spoken to her she can't do anything.' What kind of manager not facing to assist customer but hiding behind the walls? We needed a car to travel from Amsterdam to Rotterdam immediately, all she can offer was 'I can cancel your booking and make you a refund.' How easy say?! So irresponsible...We ended up took an UBER to Hertz...superb service amazing price! Please go to Hertz don't waste your time and money here. They don't deserve a single cent of profit from you, with the way they do business. More one star reviews are coming if I don't received my refund on time.

As everything started in wrong way from start. Made a car reservation on their main page, and it was shown that there is plenty of cars. Paid by company card for my colleague whos working there. When he arrived to the spot bit earlier, women said to come exactly at time which we made reservation. Ok, that's not a problem, came like she said. She asked for deposit, and my colleague gave company card, but not same from which was paid rental price and she said that deposit must be left from same card rental was purchased. Same company different card, but still cant leave deposit. She offered to send back money in 8 days and take payment for car plus deposit from other company card which colleague had. Well ok, we aggreed. And than begin again, for same price she offered other lower class car not that which rented. The reason why she offered was that, they didnt have car there, so colleague waited for 1 hour to get car and still didn't get it. So we left it. No support, all the time was taking time because they didnt have the car and didnt tell that. Wasted our time.
