★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In deze moeilijke tijd van corona verwacht je dat medewetkers van Staedion wat aardiger zullen zijn voor ouderen. Er werd in mijn gezicht opgehangen omdat ik er niet uit kwam met medewerker en vroeg of ik terug gebeld kon worden door opzichter. Zoals ik weer hoort er in ieder huis een telefoon aansluiting te zitten. Bij mijn moeder is dit niet het geval dit is geconstateerd door monteur van kpn. Deze mederwerker zegt dat provider dit moet aanleggen. Provider zegt woningbouw. Dit is toch triest als je telefoonaansluiting wil zodat je moeder van 84 nog in contact kan blijven met haar kinderen en kleinkinderen in deze moeilijke tijden.
 In this difficult time of corona, you expect Staedion co-workers to be a little nicer to the elderly. They hung up in my face because I couldn't figure it out with the employee and asked if I could be called back by the supervisor. As I say again, every house should have a telephone connection. This is not the case with my mother, this has been established by a KPN technician. This employee says that provider must install this. Provider says housing. This is sad if you want a telephone connection so that your mother of 84 can still keep in touch with her children and grandchildren in these difficult times.

Customer service is pretty inconsistent as any information provided by an agent is negated by the company's policy, even when there are explicit agreements made. But, great housing in excellent locations for very reasonable prices. Just have some patience with the bureaucracy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented a "vrijesector" apartment with Staedion for 1.5 years. It is a big housing corporation, so you will encounter some employees who are bureaucratic, inflexible and/or give incomplete/conflicting information. However, in general, we found Staedion a fair and trustworthy company to deal with with very reasonable rental terms and prices (especially compared to the many predatory makelaars/landlords in The Hague). Staedion was always responsive to our requests for repairs or improvements.
