Enkel ging de gids erg snel door de mijn heen, waardoor wij niet de tijd hadden om overal goed bij te kijken. Had a wonderful tour of the coal mine. Our guide could tell very enthusiastically. Only the guide went through the mine very quickly, so we didn't have the time to take a good look at everything.

Het is natuurlijk logisch dat je niet even met hele groepen een paar honderd meter kan afdalen, dus deze manier om het werken in de steenkolenmijn te laten zien is begrijpelijk. Gids deed het verhaal duidelijk, en hield ook rekening met onze hond door te waarschuwen als er lawaai zou komen. Erg attent. Al met al een leuke ervaring Fun and educational tour of a cave that has been transformed into a coal mine. It is of course logical that you cannot descend a few hundred meters with whole groups, so this way of showing working in the coal mine is understandable. Guide told the story clearly, also taking into account our dog by warning if there was going to be noise. Very thoughtful. All in all a nice experience
A	Alex Ranzijn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuk om weer eens te bezoeken. Interessant om te zien hoe de mijnwerkers vroegen aan het bikkelen waren en welke gereedschappen werden gebruikt. Dat kunnen we ons tegenwoordig niet meer voorstellen. Dat was pas werken. Nice to visit again. Interesting to see how the miners were knackering and what tools were used. We can no longer imagine that today. That was just work.
F	Finn G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wauw. Wauw wauw wauw. Wat een geweldige plek om te bezoeken. Je wordt rondgeleid door een gids die daar vrijwillig staat. Mensen die nog affectie hebben met het vak. Zelf in de mijnen hebben gewerkt, of op een andere manier mee in aanraking zijn geworden. Vragen kun je stellen en de rondleiding is ook nog eens interactief. Verder bestaat de tour uit objecten die uit de oude mijnen omhoog zijn gehaald waardoor je een authentieke ervaring krijgt, ook al ga je niet honderden meters de grond in. Houd er wel rekening mee dat je tijdens te tour niet bereikbaar bent op je mobiel :p Wow. Wow wow wow. What a great place to visit. You will be shown around by a guide who is there voluntarily. People who still have affection with the profession. Have worked in the mines themselves, or have come into contact with them in some other way. You can ask questions and the tour is also interactive. Furthermore, the tour consists of objects that have been brought up from the old mines, giving you an authentic experience, even if you do not go hundreds of meters into the ground. Keep in mind that you are not reachable on your mobile during the tour :p
S	Sonja Bitter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super fijne vrijwilliger die je rondleiden. Het is geen echte steenkolen mijn maar een nagebootste. Maar erg goed uitgelegd en dingen laten zien/horen. Super nice volunteer who show you around. It's not a real coal mine, but a simulated one. But very well explained and show/hear things.

A	Anja B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took almost 45 minutes longer then the time that was mentioned. We had a tour of about 2 hours, it was just too long. The group was too big, some would always stand in the back and couldnt see. Story the guide told wasnt really the best. We didnt get the point of most of what he was saying. He made a bunch of inappropriate jokes eventhough there were also children there. A bunch of the group left after half an hour and the other half of the group wished they did.
