i keep calling for help, feels impossible to get an appointment. always told to email instead and send symptoms and images. with different issue i had i am always told to wait more and just use painkillers or other things such as warm water compress when i have an infection with several stye in my eyes coming back for a month and a half? after being prescribed antibiotics which did not work? when finally seeing a doctor, being told that he cannot “see anything” and does not know of any conditions which has my symptoms.. (when even my friends see it), then telling me to see with opticians.. yet opticians only deal with contact lenses and glasses.. do they not learn that in medical school? called pearl anyways cause nothing to lose at this point, only to be told to go back to the doctor as i need to see a "specialist".. it is hard as a patient to never feel heard when you say you have pain. i feel so sad of the dutch healthcare system since i have come to the netherlands, seems they are always trying to minimize the help/medication they give you. maybe this is partly a cultural difference, but in france (where i am from) i am always given proper medication to remove pain as much as possible and often prescribed immune boosting supplements when appropriate. here even when i say that paracetamol and ibuprofen are not removing my pain, (from tonsilitis) i am denied stronger painkillers, and told to wait some more before i contact them again. i'm not one to usually post reviews, especially negative ones, but just feeling so hopeless and feels like the thing i can do at this time. i hope they reflect on this, and perhaps try to make clients feel a bit more supported.
