In a way it feels like home. Friendly people who remember your stories, carefully curated interior and items. A combination of openness and private spaces. I always choose for manicure and pedicure -in love with the forever chic and poppy colour Wild Fire- , and now and then a facial to clean my face and a massage to relax when I have busy times. Self-care in a boutique atmosphere.

Very good service, the staff is competent, kind and very international (and so are the customers). The space is calm and beautiful, they use quality products and go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable. I like it very much and will keep going when I am in Amsterdam.

I've been to the City Street Spa before and today was the best facial I've ever had in my life. Olga was the therapist. The Cure was the facial. Olga took time and paid attention and I left feeling rejuvenated, invested in and exactly how one should feel leaving a facial. Thank you. (Please note, I am very comfortable with a peel, if you are not you might not like this particular facial.)

After having a very disappointing (first ever) manicure experience, walking in to The City Street Spa was an absolute blessing. An overall very positive experience. From the warm welcome, to the nice drink and superb service to the relaxing music and calming vibes in the Spa, I could not have wished for anything more. I had an amazing treatment by the lovely Esther, and she helped me with advice, picking the right color and gave me an overall great feeling. True care, passion and service at this place. The owner explained a bit more about the salon, their christmas discount and amazing products. If anything happens to your nails within the first days you can come back for free to get it fixed. Amazing service! Nails look absolutely gorgeous, I will definitely be back in the future.

I got a facial here and it was amazing. My skin badly needed it and I noticed a change in my skin almost immediately. It felt so nice and looked so vibrant after it. The facial Kat was great, explaining all the products and what she was doing and the spa is super clean and has a really nice decor and ambience. Highly recommend.

I had a terrible experience and left in tears from this place. When booking an appointment, I was told that it would be either 12.15pm or 12.45 pm. I was also told that my hair would be washed before the haircut (though I did not want a blow dry). Unlike usual standards, there was no email or SMS sent to confirm appointment details. I reached a few minutes before my appointment at 12:15p, and was made to wait for 25 mins - at which point I asked about my appointment. The staff member involved was extremely rude and disrespectful and told me that I had the time wrong and could leave if I wanted to. Despite this I stayed on as I had already waited for 25 minutes. When the service started, I asked for the hair wash. Unpromopted, the rude staff member once again jumped in and said that if I wanted a hair wash, I would have to book another appointment and leave since it apparently wasn't scheduled. As a native English speaker, it's hard to imagine how I misunderstood both the time and the service, especially since I confirmed them during the call. Anyway, I proceeded with the haircut and told the stylist that I would not ever come back to the salon after my experience for any other appointments. She apologised on behalf of the rude staff member and cut my hair. After the haircut, I was booked for eyebrow waxing. I was asked to wait for 5 minutes. While I was waiting, the rude staff member came to ask me if I would like to leave since she only wanted happy customers in her salon. So after waiting for 25 minutes, terrible customer service, and halfway through my services, I was being asked to leave. At this point I started crying - I wonder if I would have been treated differently had I not been a person of color? Would it have been easier to accept feedback from me as a customer? Would my time have mattered more? I realize this is a subjective opinion, but in the moment, that's how I truly experienced their service. When I asked the staff member if I was being asked to leave when I had thought the matter was resolved, and in fact sitting and waiting for my next appointment, she offered me the haircut as a free service. I explained that I was not in for a free service and was able to pay. A free hair cut does not make up for the horrible customer service or being so condescendingly spoken to, or being made to feel so small for expecting standard service that was pre-confirmed. At at least three different points, I was asked by this rude staff member if I would rather leave than continue with the services. Clearly she wanted me to leave. I left before finishing the services (in tears) because I've never been treated so poorly by any service I've ever solicited. I'd caution against anyone going to City Street Spa.
