★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very difficult to get right information! Wait for appointment- come and get wrong information and then need to go again and again. Nobody know correctly how and what to do. Terrible level of organisation. Btw, what for you need phone, guys? You never care about people , who call you, never take phone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today on May 1st 2020, I went to collect my resident card. Am new to this country. Entire aura was exceptional. Staff were so good, so polite so soothing to see all this.
What was further interesting was to find a gentle women working over there who spoke couple of words of HINDI (Indian Language) .. I was bewildered...... when inquired further she told me her great grand parents were migrant from India to somewhere in South America, from there they got to this beautiful country. What a pleasure surprise it was.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most of the staff here are so helpful and understanding, it is unbelievable! However, there are some staff, especially when you're trying to sign in and get your number, who will blatantly spend time finishing their conversation before giving you the light of day.
Aside from that, wait times are ridiculous, but that's the same with any government office. Go as early in the day as you can to avoid the rush.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took 5 attempts of being on hold for 30 minutes each time before they even picked up the phone. Then the agent made a mistake in my document so I had to call again and wait 30 minutes each time again. This is several hours of my life I'm not getting back ??♀️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great experience today. Google directions got me a little lost so I was a wee bit late. Was greeted by a happy gentleman who directed me to clean my hands and wait. Then had my biometrics taken by an equally happy lady. The biometrics machine is an all-in-one affair so it was very painless ?
Don't know why people are complaining - it was a pleasant experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm asking if my wife could stay here for a bit longer than 3 months because the covid situation in her country is worsening every day and there is a record amount of people dying but it doesn't seem to be important enough for IND to let her stay for a little bit longer. I literally fear for her life because if she gets sick there, the resources for help are nowhere near enough and it would be very difficult to get quick help over there. I'm not asking for her to just be able to stay here I'm just asking for her to stay until the situation in her country becomes less. She had covid before and needed to wait 12 hours for an ambulance to come and it could have already been too late
. Shame on you IND... Where's the humanity in all of this? Doesnt my wife have the right to safety too? Our last time together is literally spent in complete fear and constant crying.
