M	Mohammed Maraee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sweet team, and warm little place that is more of an inn than a hotel in the modern concept. Very clean, organized, and well utilized as you would expect from the Dutch people. The location is gorgeous as it faces a lake and one can have a nice walk there in addition to them offering rooms with lake facing balconies. Not far from city center as some might say. Nothing is really far here, however, it's not as close to the public transportation. They have a small bar and restaurant attached to it which is very helpful.

However the rooms are badly lit, the nylon carpet is brown, the walls are brown, the wood is dark brown and frankly depressing. The noise from other guests going in and out of their rooms was intrusive as the doors make so much sound when closing. The only vegan option at dinner was a basic salad which came with dressing. Decided against trying my luck at breakfast.

While the hotel is good value for a little hotel close to the airport, I felt pretty unsafe staying in this hotel in regards to the Corona Virus. The reception is in this small room with bar and a few tables. While there was a plexi Glas screen between the guest and the worker at check in, nobody in this room wore masks. There were at least 7 people sitting very close to each other drinking beer (seemed like some of them were working for the hotel). So I was forced to stand in this small enclosed space without windows for ~10min and was potentially exposed by this gathering. I'm not sure about the current rules in NL, but I can't imagine this was legal. They did have alles the blinders down, so nobody can see them from outside. Either way, it is irresponsible for any travellers staying in this hotel. Even the next morning at check out staff was not wearing mask. (January 13th 2021)
S	Safura Atan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy room and friendly staff. Lovely scenery. The manager in charge was sensitive of my dietary requirements and kindly recommended dishes that fits my need. They have bicycle rentals and gives clear writtend directions how to travel to town using public transport. My only complain is that the WC in my room was too close to the wall and made it uncomfortable to use.

We were greeted in the hotel by construction work being carried out on both the restaurant and the rooms (in which we were not informed about before we paid full price and arrived here). We were greeted to be told the restaurant had been demolished due to a new one being built, which meant we had to travel into the centre of Amsterdam its self to have breakfast, lunch and dinner as we were told that's where was most local to purchase food (although this was still a 30 minute walk + a bus journey + a tram to get to). Let alone the restaurant not existing- to get to our room we had to walk across a floor full of bricks and wires which were left unattended and were a great cause to a hazard which could be prevented. Along with the dust that coated the rooms doors and the carpets. I emailed to complain considering I suffer with asthma and the dust was triggering it, to get a response that the hotel is under new management and therefore nothing could be done during this trip. Mine and my partners first holiday together and we was not impressed to say the least.

First room given was so dirty:side tables all sticky with bottle prints from previous guest, bottle lid found underneath it, a joint butt and and god knows what else, no towels at all , second room after complaint: dirty as well, found used toothpicks on the floor, hairs on bedsheets and heating did not work. Bathrooms were covered in mould, sink all wobbly, and dust everywhere. If I could I would have change hotel. Many reviews have been answered from the owner about expectations about cheap rooms: well then it is normal to expect at least a CLEAN room regardless from the price! Only pro: location is nice.

My room was on the lowest floor and the staff forgot to turn on a pump during the day, and as a result all rooms on that floor got a wet floor (especially my neighbors room, which was really partly flooded). The worst is that because of this they had to turn on the pump during the night to prevent a flood. The pump made so much noise it was impossible to sleep. The noise from the pump was really incredibly loud. We asked to get another room, and this was not possible. The staff didn’t apologize at all. They were not understanding at all and were rude to us and said ‘just try to sleep’. No compensation or even apology was offered to us. How can you not even say sorry if this happens to your customers? We had a terrible experience, and would never return.
