Where it all began.
The idea for The Shop of Beautiful Things was born in 2018 when two guys disenchanted with the corporate world decided it was time to follow their hearts. Fed up with the copy paste culture we live in today, we wanted to bring something different to the world – something that would stand out from the crowd.
We curate beautiful things we love, handcrafted by people we know.
We’re proud of our products and the people who make them. We have one-to-one relationships with each and every one of our artisan designers, allowing us to bring you beautiful, unique and timeless pieces that are as individual as you are.

Eetkamer stoelen van onmetelijke elegantie, al een paar jaar naar op zoek. Ik slaap er die nacht niet van en dus.....prijkt het wonderschoons nu in huis.  A new store in the street? The shop window beckons and I step inside where I am greeted in a friendly but not pushy way. Nice stuff is there! Different from other designer stuff. Dining room chairs of immense elegance, looking for a few years. I don't sleep on it that night and so ..... it now looks wonderful in the house.
