★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel not far from the coffee shop, if you aren't there for that there is a lot to do in this Historic town and this hotel is a place to stay, the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, helpful well worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Directly across from the train station, Stad en Land had a beautiful top floor room for us with private outdoor balcony. Breakfast was great and staff were very accommodating. Great choice for visiting the Alkmaar cheese market.
