★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bijzondere geschiedenis over de 2e wereldoorlog. De dijk werd opgeblazen. Hier is een mooie herdenkingsplaats. Je kan hier mooi wandelen en je hebt een prachtig uitzicht over het IJsselmeer
Special history about the 2nd world war. The dike was blown up. Here is a beautiful memorial site. You can enjoy a nice walk here and you have a beautiful view over the IJsselmeer

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hou je van history dan is deze plaats een aanrader. Een natuurgebied met een verhaal. Door de modderstroom is er ook een bos ontstaan waar je leuk kunt wandelen. Met de motor een goede plaats om mee te nemen in je ronde.
Do you like history then this place is a must. A nature reserve with a story. The mud flow has also created a forest where you can enjoy a walk. With the motorcycle a good place to take with you on your tour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited this site in 1975, quite by accident, we were cycling through Holland. Very interesting to us. We didnt know what it was but a fellow explained what had happened here in WWII. In Canada we dont have this kind of history.
