★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly staff and great view on the lively street and the canal. The food sounds very promising, however I was a little disappointed. I tried the hummus bagel. The bagel itself was okay, not super fluffy (but to be honest I haven’t found great bagels anywhere outside of North America). The hummus tasted exactly like the 2€ hummus from Albert Heijn or Jumbo, definitely not homemade. Together with kapers that tasted like they came straight out of the tin and a tasteless tomato on top didn’t justify the price of 6,25€ for the whole thing. I think this place has great potential if the ingredients were more selected, homemade and higher quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Guy making my bagel was sniffing and wiping his nose with his hands while putting the ingredients onto the bagel I ordered. He got cream cheese on his fingers and cleaned his hands on his clothes. No gloves, no hand washing ?yuck

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been coming here since I was kid and used to live here. Visited again during my birthday weekend and was overjoyed with the memories. Only sad thing is they didn’t have my childhood favorite, double chocolate muffin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, friendly service, decent bagels if you’re not used to eating a lot of bagels from NYC or somewhere like that.
Ordered the Salmon Bagel. Came with chives cream cheese, smoked salmon, one slice of tomato, and capers hidden on top of the tomato so that they don’t fall out.
Would have preferred the capers to be embedded in the cream cheese for better distribution.
Cafe latte is nice. Comes in a glass.

They have also a therase in front where you can see the boats.
